01 The client
Health2030 is a multi-center, multi-disciplinary initiative whose main objective is to highlight new technologies in the fields of health and personalized medicine.
In domains as diverse as Big Data, personalized diagnostics and the social and ethical aspects of medicine, Health2030 highlights and communicates about more than 50 projects each year.
The initiative encourages research, education and development of these new technologies, and brings in an interdisciplinary discussion between its academic, clinical, political, social, economic and industrial partners involved.
The initiative brings together the universities and university hospitals of Berne, Geneva and Lausanne as well as the Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne.
To propose a simple and intuitive solution to present research and development projects in the fields of health and personalized medicine.
Research projects related to medical fields are often complex and not easily understood by a wide audience. We were then forced to analyze the content of the various projects and had to design a visual interface adapted to people not outside of the medical world. In addition, because of the large and diverse amount of information, we devised a solution to present a maximum amount of content all the while providing optimal visual experience.
Finally, we worked on the "branding" aspect of Health2030, we revamped their entire visual guidelines and its content; including, among other things, their logo, their color palette and typography, and various communication media (business cards, signature email, etc.). To effectively highlight their different types of projects and guide users on their website, we also created a set of icons representing each one of the categories of health they are active in.
