Y-PARC | Swiss Technopole is a Swiss science and technology park located in Yverdon-les-Bains, in the canton of Vaud. Back in 1991,
It was the first park of its kind in Switzerland back. The park stands out with the specific areas of expertise it caters to, which include : cyber-security, MedTech and robotics. This ecosystem promotes business development and innovation, particularly with the proximity of the School of Management and Engineering Vaud’s R & D (HEIG-VD) and Y-PARC's partner business support structures.
The park covers 52 hectares south of the city of Yverdon-les-Bains. In 2018, the technology park was home to about 160 companies, including 1'400 employees.
We were brought in to revamp their website, as it did not reflect the technological aspect and was above all was not suitable for the park’s employees. The need to boost the site to have¬ a good representation of what Y-PARC offers in terms of its services had become a necessity. In addition, Y-PARC needed a responsive and comfortable business with the work of a global strategy for other communication media (presentation pamphlet, promotional video, etc.).
Improve the visual and technical aspects of the website to allow for a better understanding of the services offered.
Y-PARC enjoys working with companies located in its own park. The need for complete communication got our attention right away. The collaboration between our two companies was a real success, their requests were totally feasible. At first, we dug dip in the heart of the problem, which is to say the structure and hierarchy of the website. As it were, it did not benefit the user experience and we really wanted to put forward the interaction between the residents and the park.
Secondly, we focused primarily on the communication and sectorization of the proposed services (land for sale, offices for rent, the startup incubator, the co-working space and business domiciliation.) Y-Parc offers a range of very useful services for all types of companies. Ultimately, we defined for them 2D illustration style graphics (see: Produced work).
